What's the deal with MichFest?

With the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival in full swing,
here's a hilarious take on the festival's notoriously
anti-trans environment:

  1. I always like to remind folks that this is a FOR-PROFIT event. Tickets ARE extremely expensive and the proceeds go to ONE woman who started this festival so that cis ladies could pay for the privilege of pretending to live in a self-sustaining "community" for a week, otherwise known as "La-La Land." At a festival like this the concept of "safety" or "safe space" is especially laughable. What they should call it is "luxury space" - the luxury of not acknowledging their own bigotry while they get a ukelele lesson in the woods.
