Faith: a safe space discussion

34

Faith is something that everyone in our culture interacts with. Whether this means that we are intentionally unfaithful, or are just tacitly doing our thing. Our culture is very marked by religion. What's your relationship to it? What does it mean to you. How is that informed by your gender? How is your gender informed by your faith, or lack thereof? If you're not of faith, how do you interact with folks of faith? How about the reverse? Bring yourself, bring your thoughts.

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 7:00pm to 8:15pm Stone Soup (4637 N. Ashland Ave.)

Genderqueer Chicago is as safe a space as we can make it. To help with this, we have some working agreements that we would like all who come to meetings to keep in mind while within our safe space meetings. Please check out our working agreements here.

Safe space meetings are strictly closed to researchers and reporters in their professional capacities. Meetings are open to anyone else wanting to talk and think about gender! For more info, give us a shout at genderqueerchicago@gmail.com!
