There will be no meeting tomorrow, November 13th. Instead, please attend a Town Hall meeting
about trans people's experiences with the Chicago Police Department and the new policy they have in place, from 6pm until 7:30 at 430 S. Michigan Avem Room 244. The Civil Rights Agenda, People's Law Office, Transformative Justice Law Project, Loundy Human Rights Project, and Illinois Gender Advocates will be hosting a discussion and town hall regarding the new policy of the Chicago Police Department's treatment of transgender individuals. The discussion will involve a review of the new policy as it stands and explanation of specific points and the individuals rights associated with each as well as the exploration of similar policies across the country. After the discussion, the floor will be opened up to the audience for questions and personal experiences with the Chicago Police Department.
