Identifying as Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual does not automatically make someone an Ally for those who are Transgender. Believe it or not, Transgender people can face ignorance or misunderstanding even from those who are Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual. As a community, our strength is our connection to each other. When there is a gap between the "GLB" and "T", our community is impacted as a whole...
The good news is that we can, together, bridge that gap. Knowledge is the most powerful tool we have to build connections.
