Health and Healthcare: A Safer Space Discussion

Though lots of other folks and institutions may want controlling interests, thankfully we are in charge of and responsible for our own bodies and health. Maintaining good health and managing health issues are an incredibly personal decisions. Choosing a trustworthy, respectful healthcare provider can be a challenge. What are your mainstays for good self-care and daily health maintenance? What experiences have you had with healthcare providers? Join us for a safe space discussion of how we define and maintain our health.

No matter how we currently self-identify, it is possible for our perceptions and the labels we use (or don't use) to describe ourselves to shift. How has your identity evolved, and how useful have you found various labels over time?

Shapewear: A Safer Space Discussion

Our bodies aren't always shaped the way we'd like, or are in ways that actually distressing, so there are many things we can use to change that - binders or breast forms, gaffs or packers, wigs, corsets, even the cut of some clothes. What have you tried, or want to? Did it help, or possibly make things worse? Any tips, tricks, or homemade solutions you'd like to share?
