In light or recent events we are offering an open topic for Wednesday, June 15th to allow the Genderqueer Chicago community to process together. If we decide as a group that having some direction and distraction is preferable, then the intended topic for today was "Queer Takeover" where we would discuss ideas for businesses unrelated to gender and trans issues where every major decision is decided by trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming folks. This is a reminder that Genderqueer Chicago has resources to be a discussion space and does not have as many resources to be a support group. We do understand that all queer spaces will be a space for support especially at this moment in history.

Chicago is as safe a space as we can make it. To help with this, we
have some working agreements that we would like all who come to meetings
to keep in mind while within our safe space meetings. Please check out

space meetings are strictly closed to researchers and reporters in
their professional capacities. Meetings are open to anyone else wanting
