Registration for Queertopia is free and can be found here, and event descriptions are included below.

Both events are part of Chicago Sexfest 2013, which includes events at various local venues starting tomorrow.

The Northwestern University Queer Pride Graduate Student Association is hosting its sixth annual queer and sexuality studies graduate student conference on April 12-14, 2013, and this year’s theme is Philosophical Investigations into Sexuality.

This year’s keynote is Patricia Marino of the University of Waterloo (http://patriciamarino.org/). Professor Marino, who primarily works on ethics, philosophy of sex, and epistemology, is currently co-President of the Society for the Philosophy of Sex and Love.

Scholars from various philosophical traditions will be participating as well as those from other disciplines who work at the interfaces of philosophy and sexuality.
